Should I lend my car to a friend?

Only if you willing to be responsible for the negligence of the person driving your car. That’s right, if the person driving your car crashes, you can be held legally responsible for the damages and injuries caused by the person driving your car. So, the next time you are considering allowing someone to borrow your car, ask yourself, “I’m I willing to accept legal responsibility for the person driving my car?” If you are not willing to accept that responsibility, you should not lend your car to that person.
